Man arrested, another wanted after Calloway County chase ends in Tennessee
CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. - One man is in jail and police are looking for another after a chase that began in Calloway County, Kentucky ended in Henry County, Tennessee.
The Calloway County Sheriff's Office says a deputy tried to pull over a silver Buick Century on Blood River Road in New Concord. The driver fled to Henry County, Tennessee, where the Buick left the roadway and ended up in a yard off of Charlie Winn Road.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested 36-year-old Sammy Blackburn of Adamsville, Tenn., and charged him with four counts of wanton endangerment, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, two counts of fleeing and evading police and several other misdemeanor charges.
Police are looking for 34-year-old Lawrence Williams of Hickman, Kentucky, who fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
