Small earthquake rattles northwest Tennessee

OBION, Tenn. - Folks in northwest Tennessee may have felt the Earth move Monday.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a magnitude 3.3 earthquake hit six miles west of Obion, Tennessee in Obion County.

The USGS reported the quake striking around 4:45 p.m.

Local 6 viewer Danah Southerland, who lives in Obion County, sent the station an email saying everything in her house rattled during the quake.
