Tennessee man shoots wife, daughter and kills self
PURYEAR, Tenn. – An argument over a car title caused a shooting in Henry County, Tennessee investigators say.
It happened Monday afternoon at a home in Puryear. That’s just ten miles north of Paris.
Investigators say John and Virginia Baxter were going through a divorce. At their Foundry Hill Road home Monday, they allegedly started fighting over a car title.
After the shooting, police believe John Baxter killed himself.
Oloughlin was flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Emergency responders took Virginia Baxter to Henry County Medical Center.
There’s been no word on their condition.
