MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic with a moving work zone along Interstate 24 in McCracken County, Kentucky on Wednesday, February 19th.

Crews will be patching potholes along both the westbound and eastbound lanes of I-24 between mile point 0.0 and Exit 11. A moving work caravan will start from Exit 11 at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday and move along the westbound lanes to mile point 0.0 at the Ohio River Bridge. The crew will then cross the bridge to turn around and patch potholes along the eastbound lanes from the bridge to Exit 11.

Drivers who plan to travel on I-24 on Wednesday morning should be alert for the work zone and slow down when they encounter it. Caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

The work is expected to be complete by about 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
