MURRAY, Ky. - A power outage in Murray caused a few downtown businesses to lose power and a number of traffic signals along KY 94/Main Street to be out in Murray Monday morning.

Murray Electric Systems general manager Tony Thompson says a circuit breaker in one of the substations failed around 6 a.m. Monday, and it took crews about an hour to restore power.

4-way stop signs were put out at a number of locations including US 642/12th St. at KY 94/Main St. in Murray, as well as along KY 94/Main St. at 3rd, 4th, and 5th streets.

Power was restored around 7:15 a.m., and all signals were back on line by 7:30 a.m.
