Wreck forces US 60 Ledbetter Bridge closure, bridge now reopened
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — A multiple-vehicle injury wreck involving a semi temporarily shut down the US 60 Ledbetter Bridge between McCracken and Livingston counties Friday.
The wreck damaged a guardrail. Crews made temporary repairs and all lanes are open at this time.
Also known as the George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge and The Ledbetter Bridge, the US 60 Tennessee River Bridge was opened to traffic in 1931 and now carries approximately 7,800 vehicles across the Tennessee River in an average day.
