Marilyn Jo Halteman, 66, of LaCenter passed away at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Life Care Center in LaCenter. She was born on December 21, 1944, the Beloved daughter of the late Joe R. Halteman and Morine Blankenship Halteman. Her grandparents were Robert Halteman and Thelma Lee Morrison and Leslie and Dell Reeves Blankenship.

She is survived by her mother and three sisters, Carolyn Halteman of LaCenter; Judy Gill and husband Byron of Gage; Gloria Butterbaugh and husband John; and a nephew, Chris Halteman and wife Kristy, all of Wickliffe; three aunts, Dorothy Blankenship Teems of Barlow; Pat Simmons of Cairo, IL; Bobbie Halteman of Carbondale, IL., a great-aunt, Betty Converse of Bardwell and numerous cousins.

Marilyn was blessed with a loving family and enjoyed all the pleasures of growing up in the country with her "Papa", sisters and many special neighbors, friends and cousins. She shared with her twin sister the love of music and all kinds of animals, especially her precious pets. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile and gentle nature.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20 at 1:00 pm at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Wickliffe with Bro. Billy Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Wickliffe City cemetery.
