Mr. Donald “Pete” Edward Dublin, 86, of the Bell City community passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, KY.
He was a member of the Bell City Baptist Church; and was a retired TVA employee. He was also a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
He was born on October 18, 1926.
Mr. Dublin is survived by his daughter, Lori (Dwaine) Burnett of Murray; sons, Jeffrey Don (Beverly) Dublin and Kris Dublin, both of Sedalia; brothers, Artell Dublin of Shurtz, TX and Hal Dublin of Longview, FL; his sisters, Henrietta Shepard of Jacksonville, FL and Starlon Langham of Mayfield; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sunny Sue Dublin; daughter, Kelly Sue Dublin; and parents, Henry Kirksey and Burlie Ann Hall Dublin.
Friends may call on the family at the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6th.
Services for Donald “Pete” Edward Dublin will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7th in the Byrn Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Presley Lamm officiating.
Interment will follow in the Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Burnett, Melvin Crail, Jeremy Dublin, Kainan Dublin, Zachary Burnett and Seth Burnett. Olivia Dublin is the honorary pallbearer.
