Vernon Earline Hudspeth

Mrs. Vernon Earline Hudspeth, 86, of the Golo Community passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at her residence. She was a proud mother and housewife; a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ; and a 50 year member of Hammond Chapter No. 370 Eastern Star of Hammond, IN.
Mrs. Hudspeth is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Ronald) Newsom; two sons, Loyd (Shawn) Hudspeth, Jr.; and Joseph Hudspeth, all of Golo; brothers, Joseph C. (Sandra) Draper and Bill Draper, both of Athens, AL; sisters, Faye (Richard) Hollingsworth of Florence, AL and Ruby (John) Robbins of Keeling, AL; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Hudspeth, Sr.; son, Dolphus Taylor; parents, Joseph V. and Ruby O. Graham Draper; and brothers, Lifford, Pete and Paul Draper.
Services for Vernon Earline Hudspeth will be held in the Byrn Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4th. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery. Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call on the family Friday, May 3rd from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
