Ps 91:2 Rhoda Lee Sipes Summerhill, age 95, trusted in her Lord and stepped through heaven's gates on Friday, January 25, 2013, at 10:27 pm at Western Baptist Hospital. She was born on June 7, 1917, to Henry and Elmira Sipes.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Ashley and Martha Lawrence (Terry), of Paducah; one granddaughter, Rhonda Lawrence Stacy (Lee) of San Antonio, Texas; one grandson, Ryan Lawrence (Liz) of Naperville, Il; four great-grandchildren, Rachelle Stacy (Jared Hall, fiancé), Andrea Stacy Kottwitz (Justin), Collin Stacy of San Antonio, Texas and Claire of Naperville, IL; two great-great grandchildren, Callie and Charli of San Antonio, Texas, and several nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. She loved the Lord and served Him faithfully since childhood and was a member of Victory Assembly Of God. The family and friends she leaves behind will miss her greatly, but rejoice in the many years they were blessed to have her love, care and support.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Homer Lawrence Summerhill; a beloved son, Homer Ronnie Summerhill; her son-in-law, Rod Ashley and sister, Alice Donie Anderson (Roy).

Visitation for Mrs. Summerhill will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home Of Paducah.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home Of Paducah with burial to follow at Palestine Cemetery. Rev Gary De Rossette will officiate.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Heart Association, Kentucky Region, 240 Washington Parkway, Louisville, KY 40222.
