It's never too early to look ahead to the 2013-14 college basketball season -- or maybe it is.  Either way, the 2013 recruiting class will be an important one for Murray State's Steve Prohm.  The Racers have five seniors on the roster next season, so Prohm will have plenty of holes to fill moving forward.  We'll try to keep you updated on some of the recruits we get information on as we move toward the early signing period in November.

One name to keep an eye on is Isaiah Williams.  At least I've got a pretty good handle on how to spell his first name.  Williams is a 6'1, 160 pound point guard out of Buford, GA.  Williams high school coach Allen Whitehart says Williams has a scholarship offer from Murray State and is very interested in the Racers. "He really likes the way the offense allows the guards to make plays as well as the program's amazing history," Whitehart wrote in an email today.

Williams also has offers from Ole Miss, Chattanooga, Northeastern, Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville, Fairfield, and Boston University.  You have to imagine that list could get beefier once he gets rolling on the summer AAU circuit.

Coach Whitehart also said, at this point, Williams has not said when he plans to commit to a school.  We'll keep you posted.
