Paducah's Russ Cochran has withdrawn from the U.S. Senior Open because of a back injury.

Local 6 Sports spoke with Cochran earlier today. He doesn't believe the injury is anything serious, saying he just needs some rest.

Cochran leaves tomorrow for Europe to play in both the British Open and the Senior British Open. He will play in the British Open via an exemption for winning the Senior British Open last year.
