Harrisburg brings home first state title
PEORIA, ILL - They didn't take the lead until the third quarter but Harrisburg brought home their first ever state championship game Saturday night winning 50-44 over Seton Academy.
Midway through the third quarter Tyler Smithpeters hit a three to break at 33-33 tie giving the Bulldogs their first lead of the game. From their they never looked back as they won the Illinois High School Class 2A state title game.
Harrisburg finishes with a record of 33-1 on the season.
