Jaguars waive DE Austen Lane, CB Trey Wilson
Jacksonville, FL-- The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived defensive end Austen Lane after three seasons and undrafted rookie cornerback Trey Wilson.
On Thursday, Lane had this to say about the decision on his Twitter page:
"I just wanted to thank all the fans for the love and support. You guys are truly some of the best fans in the NFL, and the Jaguars are blessed to have you! It's been an awesome three and a half years, and I'm honored to have called this city my home. I want to wish my coaches and teammates the best of luck (except if they're playing a team that I'm on) and also want to thank the entire staff of the Jaguars organization. Wherever this road takes me, please know I will never stop having a smile on my face. Everyone goes through tough challenges, but it's how you respond to them that matters. Happiness and frustration are choices, and at the end of the day, I will always choose happiness. I'll keep you guys and this city in my heart for the rest of my life. Thanks for the memories!!!"
