Lone Oak's incredible run has come to an end at the KHSAA State Tournament.

After two wins earlier in the day over Greenwood and Boyle County, the Flash took on Mercy Academy in the Championship Game. Lone Oak would have to beat the Jaguars twice in order to win the championship. It never came to that because Mercy County defeated Lone Oak in the first game, 7-2.

Lone Oak ends the tournament as the overall runner-up.
