MURRAY, KY-- Kendall Deese, Murray High School senior and member of the MHS Boy's Basketball Tigers, has signed a letter of intent with the Jackson State University Men's Tiger Basketball team.

Deese led the team in scoring, averaging 17 points a game in 2012.  The senior also led his team in steals, rebounds, and assists. Deese finished his career at Murray with 1,031 points, and over 400 rebounds.

Jackson State is coached by former Murray State University basketball coach Tevester Anderson.  Anderson, who is also Deese's grandfather, most likely plans on red-shirting Deese his freshman year.
