LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky coach John Calipari isn't surprised that his highly touted freshmen have been inconsistent, often looking like the teenagers they are.

The coach says the third-ranked Wildcats must grow up quickly heading into a December schedule full of opponents capable of knocking them off.

Kentucky (6-1) faces Providence (6-1) Sunday night in Brooklyn, N.Y., followed by matchups with No. 18 Baylor, Boise State, No. 16 North Carolina, Belmont and defending champion and in-state rival Louisville, ranked ninth.

The latter four schools reached last season's NCAA tournament; Baylor won the second-tier NIT while the Friars reached the third round. Despite blowout wins over less-talented teams, Calipari believes his Wildcats could lose to all of these tougher foes if they don't correct weaknesses overshadowed in the routs.
