PADUCAH, KY-- Pure domination, that's simply the only way to put Reidland's performance in this weekend's All "A" Classic state softball tournament. The other five times the Greyhounds went to the tournament, they won. And this year was no different, as they captured their sixth All "A" classic state title.

The championship game was actually supposed to be played on Sunday, but All "A" officials were afraid that weather would effect bracket play. So they drafted a single elimination bracket with all sixteen teams, and played the entire tournament on Saturday.

The Greyhounds blanked Green County in their first game 7-0, then got past Livingston Central 3-1, in their next game they put up 12 runs in the third to roll past Maggoffin County 14-0. And in the championship game, which started around 11 PM Saturday night, they beat Edmonson County 11-0. For those of you keeping track, Reidland outscored their opponents 35-1 in bracket play.

The Greyhounds now return back to regular season play, they have Paducah Tilghman on Tuesday.
