Two Lone Oak football players have transferred and enrolled at Paducah Tilghman.

Joeshawn Starks and Bronson Owen have both made eligibility requests to the KHSAA.

The Paducah Sun first reported the news.

Starks sat out all of last season due to disciplinary reasons. We spoke with Tilghman head coach Randy Wyatt. He says Starks' decision is not just about athletics. It's about getting into a better environment.

Both transfers still need to be approved by the KHSAA. Wyatt expects both players to clear. He says he hopes to have an answer in the next couple of weeks.
