Former Caldwell County golfer Emma Talley shot a +9 at the U.S. Women's Open in Kohler, Wisconsin on Saturday.  Talley now sits at +13 heading into the final day of the tournament.

The day didn't start off well for Talley, as she shot a +9 on the front nine, including a quadruple bogey on hole four, and a double bogey on hole six.  After making the turn, Talley bogeyed the tenth hole to go to +10 on the day.  But from there she came through with a birdie on the twelfth hole, and then parred holes thirteen through eighteen, for an even par on the back nine.

Talley goes into the last day of the Open golfing a 229, and is tied for 56th overall.  The Caldwell County alum will tee off on her final round Sunday morning.
