The Region 1 Girls Golf Tournament was held at Paxton Park in Paducah, KY. Lone Oak won the team competition with a combined score of 325. Paducah Tilghman finished in second. Both teams will advance to the state tournament. As for individual honors, Tilghman's April Butler and Lone Oak's Anna Hack finished tied at 73. They went into a playoff where Butler was victorious. Four other golfers qualified for the individual tournament as well. Marshall County's Bailey Tyree, Heath's Sydney Trimble, St. Mary's Morgan Bucher, and Hickman County's Cameron Bizzle.
