Wyoming beats UT Martin 78-60

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Riley Grabau scored a career-high 17 points Friday night to lead Wyoming to a 78-60 win over Tennessee-Martin in the season opener for both teams.
     
Larry Nance Jr. grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds for Wyoming and scored 10 points. Trey Washington III added 14 points in his collegiate debut and Charles Hankerson Jr. scored 14 also as four Cowboys finished the night with double-digit points.
     
The Skyhawks led 32-30 with 4:30 left in the first half, but the Cowboys ended the period on a 15-1 surge to go up 45-33. Derek Cooke Jr. had two dunks and Grabau added two 3-pointers during the spurt. The Cowboys stretched their advantage to 72-54 on two free throws by Hankerson with 4:05 left to play.
     
Dee Oldham led UT-Martin with 15 points and Marshun Newell contributed 14.
