Here's a look at a pair of 2014 recruits who have picked up offers from Murray State.

Murray State coach Steve Prohm and his staff have gotten in early on a pair of 2014 recruits.  You have to keep in mind, these kids just finished their sophomore years in high school.  They're still another 18 months away from being able to sign a letter of intent with anybody, so you have to imagine they might change their minds a few times in the next year or so.  With that said, here is some updated information I've been able to track down about what they're thinking.

Jarvis Calhoun (SG), Trussville, AL
Calhoun is listed as a 6'0, 150 pound shooting guard.  Five schools have offered him already including Murray State, Tennessee Tech, Georgia State, Alabama A&M and Rutherford.  His former high school coach, Tim Reeves, told me Calhoun does have interest in Murray State but he is keeping his options open and at this point has no timetable for when he plans to commit to anybody.

Adonys Henriquez (SG), Orlando, FL
The other offer out there right now is to another shooting guard, Adonys Henriquez.  Henriquez is 6'4, 180 pounds and plays at Orlando Christian High.  In this article, Henriquez says he has offers from seven schools so far: Murray State, Florida, Florida State, Central Florida, South Florida, Florida International and Georgia Southern.  When he was asked who was at the top of his list, he included Georgetown, Syracuse and Kansas -- schools he doesn't have offers from yet.  Henriquez appears to be gathering a ton of attention from a lot of high-major schools.  Murray State is in early with him, but it looks like it will be a long shot to get him into a Racer uniform.

You can check out video of Henriquez here.
