28 down -- one to go.

As we told you several weeks ago, Murray State coach Steve Prohm was working on wrapping up a home-and-home series with Valparaiso.  Today, he confirmed the deal is done.  The Racers will play Valpo December 29th at the CFSB Center.  The Crusaders are the defending Horizon League champion and played in the NIT last season.

Murray State now has 28 of their 29 games set for next season.  Don't be surprised if it takes another month for that final hole to get filled.  At this point, there are no front-runners to take that slot. 

There is also a question of when that 29th game will be played.  Prohm has two big gaps in his schedule: 11 days between Lipscomb and Evansville and eight days between Evansville and WKU.  With fall semester exams starting December 10th, it appears to be a safe bet that 29th game will be slipped between Lipscomb and Evansville.
