Canaan, Daniel earn invites to 'LeBron James Skills Academy'Murray State seniors Isaiah Canaan and Ed Daniel are two of the top twenty college players in the country invited to next week's LeBron James Skills Academy in Las Vegas. According to the camp's website, "The skills academy is hosted by three-time NBA MVP LeBron James for four days of intense skill development work and competition in front of hundreds of members of the media and scouts from every NBA team." This will be the third skills academy Canaan has visited this summer. Earlier this month, he went to the camps hosted by NBA stars Chris Paul and Deron Williams. He performed well enough at those camps to earn an invite to Las Vegas. Daniel turned a lot of heads last week in Chicago at the Amar'e Stoudemire skills camp. Prior to that showing, he wasn't expected to earn an invite to LeBron's camp. But he played so well, he's getting another shot to improve his game and impress NBA scouts. The camp will be help in Las Vegas from July 6-9. Follow WPSD Sports on Facebook by clicking here. Follow WPSD Sports on Twitter by clicking here. |
