Daniels to transfer to Colorado State

WPSD Sports

Two months ago, Southern Illinois University announced that sophomore forward Dantiel Daniels would transfer out of their basketball program. This weekend, we learned that he has verbally committed to transfer to Colorado State.

According to the Coloradoan, Daniels made an official visit to Fort Collins this weekend, and made his decision quickly.

Daniels averaged seven points and three rebounds this past season for Southern Illinois, but missed half the year with injuries.

The Coloradoan went on to say he has not signed a letter of intent yet, but that he will not visit any other schools. Ball State and SIU Edwardsville were the other schools that Daniels was interested in. He will of course have to sit out all of next season due to NCAA transfer regulations.
