UT MARTIN 6, TENNESSEE TECH 2
MARTIN, Tenn. - UT Martin defeated Tennessee Tech, 6-2, to advance to the championship game of the OVC Tournament. Tennessee Tech will play the winner of the Jacksonville State/Murray State contest tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Jenny Bain led the Skyhawks going 3-for-4 with four RBI. Two of Bain's three hits were for extra bases, including a home run and a double. 

Kendall Hooper recorded a team-high two hits for the Golden Eagles. She hit her second home run of the year. 

UTM's Chelsea Jones earned her 27th win in the circle as she struck out one and didn't allow a walk in 7.0 innings of work. 

Holly Thomas took the loss for Tennessee Tech.

 

MURRAY STATE 5, JACKSOVNILLE STATE 3

MARTIN, Tenn. - Murray State defeated Jacksonville State, 5-3, to advance to play Tennessee Tech tomorrow at 10 a.m. The Gamecocks finihsed the season with a 28-28 record. 

The Racers were led by Casey Castille who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored. Mandi Kellerman also had a pair of hits for Murray State. Castille and Alexa Becker each hit a home run. 

Jacksonville State's Abbey Stepp hit her fifth home run of the season. It was a two-run shot to tie the game in the bottom of the third. Krystal Ruth and Shelby Holley each had a pair of hits for the Gamecocks. 

Shelby Kosmecki picked up the win in the circle while Samantha Snow suffered the loss.
