After missing all of Houston's NBA Summer League games in Orlando with an ankle injury, former Murray State star Isaiah Canaan told us Thursday night he expected to make his debut Friday morning.  That will not happen.  Canaan said this morning the team's trainer ruled him out from playing since his ankle still isn't 100%.

Canaan agreed to a three-year contract with the Rockets on Thursday.  There is no word yet on the terms of his contract.  The Rockets are still working out some other roster moves before they can figure out where exactly Canaan's contract will fit under the salary cap.

Without Canaan, the Rockets will play in the Summer League finale on NBA-TV at 11am Friday morning.
