Murray State will take on Auburn in the opening round of the Charleston Classic on Thursday.  It will be the first meeting between the two schools since 2002.  While this is a big week for the Racer team, it's also a very important week for one Racer in particular.

Senior guard Stacy Wilson is from nearby Mullins, SC.  Playing in Charleston will give his family and friends a rare chance to get to see him play in person.

"They're very excited about coming to the game," Wilson said. "I've got a lot of friends and family coming so I'm very excited about trying to seize the moment and play at home."

"It's a great opportunity for a lot of his relatives to get over here," Murray State coach Steve Prohm added. "Hopefully he'll play well and give them a good performance the next three days."

The Racers will take on Auburn at 7:00pm CST on Thursday.
