Murray State's Mushatt has an injured Achilles

This morning on his Twitter account, Murray State senior forward LaTreze Mushatt said he hurt his Achilles yesterday and he expects to have surgery tomorrow.  At this point, there is no offical word from Murray State about the extent of the injury or how long he is expected to be out of action. 

Today is the first day men's college basketball coaches are on the road for the July recruiting period.  When we reached him by text message, Murray State coach Steve Prohm did not have an update on Mushatt's prognosis.
 
If you're looking for hints as to the severity of the injury, last night on his Twitter account, Murray State senior guard Isaiah Canaan wrote: "Never take Life for Granted something you Cherish so much can be taking away from you in a Blink of an Eye!!"
