Former Murray State guard Donte Poole told WPSD Sports Thursday he has signed a deal to play professionally in Cyprus.  Poole is the second Racer from last year's team to sign a pro contract.  Last week, Ivan Aska inked a deal with a team in Belgium.

Poole was a role player for his first three years in Murray, before his production exploded his senior season.  Poole averaged a career-best 14.0 PPG and was in the top 40 in the country with his two steals per game.  He was a key part of Murray State's 31-2 season, where he ultimately earned first-team All-OVC honors and was the OVC Tournament Most Valuable Player.

Poole, Aska and Jewuan Long won more games than any senior class in Murray State history.
