Racers get back to work after Charleston Classic
MURRAY, KY - One day after returning from the Charleston Classic the Murray State Racers were back to work at the CFSB Center. Their main goal was to correct the mistakes made during their first loss of the season.
The 81-74 loss to Colorado on Sunday came a full three months earlier than last season.
"We can learn a lot from a loss this early because we do have time to correct what when wrong," Racer Senior Isaiah Canaan said. "By the end of the season we should be right where we left off last season and hopefully with as many wins."
"Of course we didn't go into the game thinking we would lose," Head Coach Steve Prohm said. "Colorado is Colorado and they are a tough team. We just have to take everything one game at a time and that's what we did last year and it worked."
The Racers next game will come on Saturday when the host Old Dominion at the CFSB Center. Prohm went on to say that freshman forward Jeffery Moss is questionable and may not play.
