Just like last year, it's another perfect regular season for the Mayfield Cardinals.

And that's certainly something to be proud of.

But this time, there is no happy ending.

The Cards lost to Hazard 24-6 in the KHSAA Class 1A State Title Game.

Mayfield head coach Joe Morris wore a microphone for us during the game.
