Mike Rogers has been named the new head football coach at Paducah Tilghman. Tilghman principal Art Davis made that announcement Friday morning.

Rogers has spent the last five years as the head coach at Warren Central, where he went 46-17.  Rogers led the Dragons to the 5A 1st region title game in three straight seasons from 2010-12.

Before leaving for Warren Central in May of 2009, Rogers went 34-22 in five years as the head coach at Graves County.

Rogers will replace Randy Wyatt who spent six seasons as the head coach at Paducah Tilghman. Wyatt led the Blue Tornado to the 2009 KHSAA 3A state championship.

Paducah Tilghman will introduce Rogers at 3pm news conference on Monday.
