Choate, Davis finish in top 10 at KHSAA Boys State Golf Championships

BOWLING GREEN, KY-- Western Kentucky was well represented during Wednesday's final round of the Boys State Golf Championships in Bowling Green. All three individual qualifiers from our region made Wednesday's final cut, along with both teams, Graves County and McCracken County.

Trigg County's Nick Choate, and Graves County's Lance Davis both shot a three-under par in Wednesday's final round of the KHSAA Boys State Golf Championships. Choate climbed up 15 spots from Tuesday, to finish tied for fifth at +2 overall. Davis shot up 26 spots from the first day, to finish eighth at +3 overall.

On the team side, McCracken County finished eighth, 54 shots behind champion West Jessamine. Meanwhile, Graves County finished tied for ninth with at +73 overall.
