MURRAY, KY-- Graves County is going back to the state tournament for the first time since 2009, after beating Calloway County 63-53 in the 1st Region title game on Sunday.

The Eagles led Calloway County 26-22, at the half, but Graves stretched their lead in the second half. The dagger came at the end of the third quarter, when Jake Williams sank his first three of the tournament to put the Eagles up eleven.

Graves County's Tyler Starkey was named the tournament MVP. Graves County will now play 3rd Region champ Ohio County, in Lexington on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30.

Tickets for that game will be on sale for Graves season ticket holders from ten to noon on Monday, March 4th. The general public can purchase them after 12 pm.
