Gridiron Glory's Top Players: Zach Katzman

WPSD Sports

This year we asked every high school football coach in the Local 6 viewing area to vote for the top players in 2012.  The only rule was the coaches couldn't vote for their own players.  The coaches voted Graves County running back Zach Katzman the #4 player of Gridiron Glory.
When it comes to running backs in our area, Graves County's Zach Katzman is a fan favorite among coaches.
"Boy, he's the kind of running back we'd like to have at Murray," Murray coach Steve Duncan said. "He's a good one. He's a real good one."
"Katzman is one of my favorite players just from watching Gridiron Glory," Trigg County coach Coby Lewis added.
"I wish I had him here at Calloway because he's such a hard-nosed football player," Calloway County coach Brad Lawson said.
And one of the biggest reasons is because of his mentality when he's on the field.
"He plays hard. He's not very big but he plays hard. He runs hard," Mayfield coach Joe Morris said.
"He doesn't want to get beat no matter what. Tough. He's a tough guy," Duncan said.
"He's always going to fight and battle, you can tell. He plays with a real attitude which is something I like," Lewis said.
