Meade County knocks off Calloway County 1-0

Meade County used a wild pitch in the bottom of the 7th inning to score the game's only run as the Green Wave knocked off Calloway County 1-0 in the opening round of the KHSAA state baseball tournament.

Neither team was able to mount much offense as the two combined for just four hits.  Calloway County's Dylan Dwyer struck out 12 and gave up just two hits in a losing effort.  Hugh Paschall and Andrew Fraher had the Lakers' only hits on the day.

The Lakers end the season with a record of 32-7.
