MSU's Lane selected for 2010 Under Armour Senior Bowl

Murray State All-America defensive end Austen Lane received a phone call Sunday evening and graciously accepted an invite to participate in the 2010 Under Armour Senior Bowl to be played Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. Lane will fly to Mobile Monday morning and play for the North Team.

Lane (Iola, Wisc.), who was originally scheduled to play in the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Game in El Paso, Texas Feb. 6, has been training at the Athletes Performance training center in Pensacola, Fla. He will continue to train in Florida in preparation for the 2010 NFL Combine on Feb. 24-March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
