WPSD Sports

Paducah, KY- You may not get behind the wheel, but you can look through the window. The PIR/ Salvation Army Annual Car Show will be held on Saturday, March 6th from 10:00 to 2:00. The show will feature something for every race fan with cars from Super Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Crate Late Models, Street Stock, 4-Cylinder, and the Vintage Classics.

This event gives race fans the opportunity to see their favorite drivers’ new cars and paint schemes before the season starts. It also gives Paducah International Raceway the chance to give back to the community by helping The Salvation Army. Both Adult and Children’s tickets are free and currently available.

2010 marks Paducah International Raceway’s fifth year with the new NASCAR owners. The season officially takes the green flag on Friday, March 26th and Saturday, March 27th with the First Annual Rumble By the River Double Header featuring NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Kenny Wallace mixing it up with the local stars in his Federated Auto Parts Modified.
