NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee Titans starting center Eugene Amano suffered a triceps injury during a collision in team drills.

Amano left the field Thursday night holding his arm and was escorted by trainers to the locker room.

Coach Mike Munchak said the team would evaluate Amano, who was expected to be sent for an MRI.

"He got it caught; I think a helmet hit, but I'm not sure," Munchak said.  "A lot of times once the soreness settles down, it's not an issue."

Amano is in a battle for his starting job with Kevin Matthews, who sat out practice with concussion symptoms. Matthews will be evaluated day-to-day as a precaution.

Those two injuries left Fernando Velasco, who is battling for the starting right guard spot with Leroy Harris, finishing at center.
