LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A federal appeals court in Louisville has upheld the convictions of two men who ran an oil-and-gas drilling scheme. Former attorney Bryan Coffman and Tennessee businessman Gary Moss Milby were convicted in 2011 of multiple fraud charges. Prosecutors say they cheated investors out of millions of dollars.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is getting credit for protecting aluminum factory jobs in a TV ad released by his campaign. The ad focuses on McConnell's efforts to pass fair trade legislation. Alison Lundergan Grimes' campaign says McConnell has supported tax breaks that encouraged companies to ship jobs overseas.

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - A one-time tobacco farm that had been converted to a winery has gone through another conversion. An auctioneer has sold off the Acres of Land Winery in Richmond at a foreclosure liquidation sale. The former owners are trying to settle more than $1 million in debt.

CAVE CITY, Ky. (AP) - Voters in Cave City have approved package liquor sales. A total of 230 people voted in favor of allowing package sales with another 132 voting against it. The results mean that Cave City will be allowed to have two full liquor stores.
