PADUCAH - Thought flu season was over? A few cases are popping back up this week in the Local 6 region.

Nurse Practitioner Lance Williamson at Paducah's Redicare reports gastroenteritis with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, as well as cases of skin rashes mainly from poison ivy. He is also treating seasonal allergies.

Dr. David Saxon of Baptist Prime Care reports shingles and influenza making a little bit of a comeback.

Dr. Richard Crouch at Murray Medical Associates is seeing chronic respiratory illnesses getting worse due to all the pollen, as well as sinus infections.

Nurse Practitioner Rhonda Darnell at Marshall County Family Medical is seeing strep throat, a stomach bug causing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, and allergic rhinitis.

Dr. Gregory Cox in Fulton, Kentucky reports seasonal allergies, allergic rhinitis, and viral gastroenteritis with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Nurse Practitioner Lori Lipinski at the Calvert Clinic in Calvert City reports gastroenteritis, sinusitis, sore throats, and poison ivy cases.

Dr. Brian Harrison in Benton, Illinois says allergies are keeping him busy.

Dr. John Hale in Union City, Tennessee is treating seasonal allergies with itchy, water eyes and runny noses. He's also our second doctor to report some late influenza, but only a couple of cases.
