The weather is warming up, and that means a rash of allergies and bug bites. Here's what local doctors are seeing in their offices this week.
Dr. William Robinson at Murray Medical Associates is seeing bronchitis, asthma, allergies, acute and chronic sinusitis, and rashes due to poison ivy and sumack.
Dr. John Tveite at Marshall County Family Medical is seeing seasonal allergy flares and bronchitis. He's also treating sinusitis and gastroenteritis.
Dr. Vineet Kumar at SIU Family Practice in Carbondale is reporting tick bites.
Dr. Brian Harrison in Benton, Illinois says seasonal allergies are becoming a common problem. He's also seeing sinus infections and upper respiratory infections.
Dr. William Conyer at Baptist Health Prime Care reports viral gastroenteritis and tick bites.
Nurse Practitioner Lance Williamson at Paducah's Redicare is seeing sinusitis and skin rashes for poison ivy, as well as strep throat.
Dr. Walter Fletcher in Martin, Tennessee reports mainly allergy and sinus troubles.
