Miss Illinois crowned at Marion Civic Center

Marisa Buchheit, of Chicago takes home the crown at the Marion Cultural & Civic Center. She performed an Opera piece for her talent to "Juliet's Waltz." Top Ten finalist included: People's Choice Miss Southern Sweetheart Crystal Davis, Miss River to River Caitlin Robb, Miss Chain O' Lakes Kristen One, Miss Marion Main Street Emily Travis, Miss Fox Valley Natalie Swieca, Miss Heart of Illinois Audra Ferguson. Top 5 Included: 4th Runner Up Miss Mississippi Crown Samantha Kammerman, 3rd Runner Up Miss Kankakee County Kourtney Turner, 2nd Runner up Miss Gold Coast Kogan Murphy, and 1st Runner up Miss Windy City Amanda Goerlitz.

Peyton Newman, of Vernon Hills becomes Miss Illinois' Outstanding Pre-Teen. Grace Etzkorn, of Lisle becomes Miss Illinois' Outstanding Teen. The Teen and Pre-Teen program is the little sister program to Miss Illinois. As Miss Illinois' Outstanding Teen and Pre-Teen, Grace and Peyton will make appearances across the state speaking about their platforms. Grace will compete for the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2015 in August in Orlando, FL.   

Pre-Teen Top 6 included: 5th Runner Up Miss Central Illinois Zoe Drew, 4th Runner Up Miss Chicago Jade Parr, 3rd Runner Up Miss Fox Valley Lindsey Pearlman, 2nd Runner Up Miss Springfield Elisabeth Sandoval, 1st Runner Up Miss Metropolis Courtney Burgess.
Teen Top 5 included: 4th Runner Up Miss Illinois Valley McKara Caldwell, 3rd Runner Up Miss Southern Sweetheart Sara Stehlik, 2nd Runner Up Miss Chicago Abby Foster, 1st Runner Up Miss Fox Valley Sheridan Hurtig.
