Students attending the University of Tennessee at Martin will have to pay more to attend classes in the fall.
On Thursday, the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees approved a six percent tuition increase.
The increase will cost undergraduates students an additional $255 a semester, graduate students $292 a semester.
Mandatory semester fees were also increased. The student activity fee went up by $10, $30 for student health and counseling, and $25 for technology.
The tuition hike and fees will go in effect for the 2014 fall semester which begins on August 25th.
