CARBONDALE, IL -

All across the country, protestors took to the streets for a second night, chanting messages of peace in response to the Ferguson case.

In Carbondale, more than 50 protestors lined Main Street with signs and candles in memory of Michael Brown.

The protest was non-violent and those in attendance said the goal was to promote unity.

"And when it's all over we will feel better than we were a part of what happened in Carbondale, peacefully," said Ed Dorsey, NAACP Chapter President.

The rally was put on by the Racial Justice Coalition of Carbondale.
