City wants input on proposed ordinance

MURRAY, KY -

The City of Murray wants the public's input on a proposed Human Rights Ordinance.

A public forum is being held Monday night to discussed proposed revisions to the city's Human Rights Ordinance.

The ordinance protects people in the city from discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, familial status, disability, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

Everyone is invited to the forum to share their thoughts on the ordinance.

The forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
