Local school district hosting blood drives all week

GRAVES COUNTY, KY -

Blood drives are being held all week at Graves County schools in memory of a student.

17-year-old Graves County high school student Tori Elizabeth Waggoner passed away in 2010 in her battle against cancer.

The American Red Cross says blood transfusions are an important part of treating many cancer patients.

The blood drives will be held at each of the district's elementary schools through Thursday. They are:

Monday, March 9th: Sedalia, 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday, March 10th: Fancy Farm, 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 10th: Central, 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, March 11th: Symsonia, Noon - 5:00 p.m.

Thursday,  March 12th: Farmington, Noon - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 12th: Lowes, Noon - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 12th: Wingo, 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
