A woman facing charges regarding a 2014 wreck that seriously injured a Mayfield teenager was arrested Wednesday in Texas.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office has been searching for Tabitha Wheeler since October of last year.

Wheeler is accused of crashing a car while under the influence of alcohol or drugs on Jan. 25, 2014. The single-vehicle wreck seriously injured Corey Gentry, a passenger in the car. The wreck left him unable to walk or talk. Wheeler's two children and Timothy Farris, of Boaz, were also injured.

Wheeler was arrested but released in October, 2014, on a monitored court release program. After she was released, she went missing.

Wednesday morning, U.S. Marshals found Wheeler in Montgomery County, Texas, and arrested her.

Wheeler is in jail in Texas and will be extradited back to Kentucky. She faces four counts of assault, four counts of wanton endangerment, DUI, no operator's license, and other charges.
